A Shawl Depicting Swallows From Famous Santorini Fresco

In Greek island of Santorini, in Akrotiri, is a settlement buried sometime in the 16th century BC in volcanic ash.

Fresco's of great artistic and archeological significance were found there.

This shawl depicts the famous two swallows found there. It is a celebration of spring, dating over 5000 years.
